Classic Mouse Collection
The Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection comprises six coordinating etched‑die sets and a BetterPress plate, all themed around classic Steamboat Willie‑style Mickey & Minnie Mouse designs, ideal for mixing and matching on cards, scrapbook layouts, and more.
Cutting Dies & BetterPress
- Classic Mouse Alphabet and Numbers & Punctuation – A playful font sized for layering.
- Steamboat Willie Duo – Build your favorite mouse couple with interchangeable arms, hats, and accessories.
- Flags & Banners – Dimensional birthday-style banners proclaiming “The Best Day Ever”.
- Frame & Sentiments – Cuts a circular frame and four whimsical phrases (“Golly,” “Well Hello There!,” “Swell,” “Oh Boy!”)
- Steamboat Willie – BetterPress plate of a scene of everyone’s favorite mouse whistling a tune in his boat.
- Classic Mouse Borders – Nautical and musical motifs perfect for trimming project edges or creating coordinated borders across backgrounds.
Each set is cleverly designed to coordinate with the others, so you can layer frames, characters, sentiments, letters, banners, and borders to build customizable, nostalgia-infused scenes and layouts.
Papers & Ephemera
The Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection from Simple Stories also features a vast coordinating array of papers, ephemera, and embellishments—including borders, frames, alphabets, flags, banners, and more—designed to bring beloved classic mouse icons to life in scrapbook pages, handmade cards, and celebrations. The Simple Stories element includes vibrant 12×12 double-sided cardstock, a 6×8 patterned paper pad, stamps, sticker sheets, chipboard pieces, brads, rub‑ons, and bits & pieces—all styled with whimsical, bold graphics reminiscent of classic theme‑park magic. Altogether, it offers nostalgia‑driven charm with contemporary papercrafting versatility.

Make It Yours
Fully Customizable for Anyone & Any Occasion
One of the things I love most about these bright and bold birthday cards and tags is how completely customizable they are. From the color palette to the sentiment, every detail can be tailored to fit the personality of the child/person you’re making it for. You can go bright and bold, soft and pastel, or anything in between—just by switching up the cardstock colors. The Classic Mouse Alphabet and Numbers & Punctuation die sets let you spell out names, ages, fun greetings, or even inside jokes, making each piece truly one of a kind. Whether you’re crafting for a superhero-loving little boy or a glitter-and-pink-obsessed birthday girl, these dies make it easy to create something meaningful, playful, and totally personal.
For the Boys
Birthday Card
The boys birthday card is a burst of classic bold colors—primary blue, red, orange, and green—all stacked with playful dimension. I die cut the letters from the Classic Mouse Alphabet and layered them over a shadow in black to give that signature Disney-style pop. The “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” sentiment stretches across a clean white background on a mini slimline card, making the letters the true star of the show.
Gift Tag
For the matching gift tag, I kept the color palette bright and added a fun sunburst die cut behind the “O” for a little extra energy. A vibrant orange ribbon finishes it off. These gift tags are so easy to customize with any (medium-short) name, and they make birthdays feel extra special!

For the Girls
Birthday Card
For the girls birthday card, I went with a pastel twist—pink, coral, teal, blue, and lavender—while still using the same Classic Mouse Alphabet and Numbers & Punctuation dies. The “HAPPY B-DAY 2 YOU!” sentiment is laid out in a stacked format on a portrait A2 card, set against a balloon-embossed background for added texture and fun.
Gift Tag
The tag follows suit with the same embossed balloon pattern and a navy ribbon that pulls in the card’s base color. The name followed the same color pallet as the card, and is perfectly framed by that soft balloon texture in the background.
