Peppermint Prancer Card
Spellbinders | Stitching Die of the Month Club – October 2025
Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a holiday card made with the October Stitching Die of the Month from Spellbinders. The theme for October’s clubs is Glimpses of Christmas, and it’s full of festive holiday fun.
The featured die set is called Peppermint Prancer, and it’s such a fun and festive addition to your holiday crafting. For this project, I paired the stitched peppermint with the sweet reindeer to create a joyful centerpiece that really stands out against the embossed background. It’s also makes a great gift tag as well.
Stitching Die of the Month Club
The Stitching Die of the Month Club is one of my personal favorites. Each month, you’ll receive a new set of dies designed specifically for adding stitching details with thread. The results are always stunning and add such a unique, handmade touch to your projects. I love that you can choose to stitch them up for texture or leave them unstitched for a clean, die-cut look. It is like getting two designs in one! You can learn more or join the stitching club here.

Deluxe Caboodle Bonus Item
This month’s Deluxe Caboodle bonus item is such a fun extra—and the best part is, it coordinates beautifully with the October Stitching Die of the Month! The die set includes a “For U” and “Believe in Magic” sentiments, which pair perfectly with the stitched peppermint and reindeer design. I love how these bonus dies expand the creative possibilities and give you even more ways to make your cards one-of-a-kind.

Peppermint Prancer Card
For this card, I started with a soft teal panel embossed with diagonal stripes for a clean, modern backdrop. I stitched the peppermint from the October Stitching Die of the Month using metallic aquamarine thread, which adds just the right pop of shimmer. The sweet reindeer from the Peppermint Prancer set sits playfully on top, with foam under the hooves for a little extra dimension. To finish, I added bold drop-shadow letters on either side to spell “JOY,” bringing the whole design together in a festive and cheerful way.
Gift Tag
I couldn’t resist creating a matching gift tag using the Deluxe Caboodle Bonus die set! I kept the same color palette and added that adorable reindeer from the Peppermint Prancer set to tie everything together. To make the tag, I die cut the Bulb Ornament shape from teal cardstock, embossed the background for texture, and layered the “for U” sentiment on top for extra dimension. It’s such a charming way to dress up a holiday gift and coordinates perfectly with the Peppermint Prancer “JOY” card.
