Ready to Roll Adventure Card

Small Die Club

Ready to Roll Adventure Card

For my first card using the May Spellbinders Clubs, I created this bright blue card using the Small Die of the Month, Ready to Roll. I absolutely love the fun travel theme and adorable little dog peeking out from the luggage! The layered suitcase details add so much dimension, and the Polaroid-style photo frame gives the whole design a playful scrapbook feel. I finished it off with the “Hello Friend, Glad You’re Along” sentiment, which makes this card perfect for sending a happy hello to a friend.

Stitched Sunshine Spinner Card

Stitching Die Club

Stitched Sunshine Spinner Card

Nothing says summer quite like a smiling sunshine! For this cheerful card, I used the Stitching Die of the Month, Stitched Sunshine. The stitched rays create such a fun texture and really make the background shine. I paired the happy sun with a fluffy cloud and the “hello sunshine” sentiment for a clean and playful design full of summer cheer.

What makes this card even more fun is that it’s interactive! The sun is attached to a spinner, so it actually spins on the card. It adds such a playful touch and makes the card extra special. This cheerful design would be perfect for brightening someone’s day and sending a little sunshine their way.

Card Details

    • Classic White – umbrella stripes (x5)
  • Glue the white die-cuts behind the holographic die-cuts to make them more sturdy.
  • Glue the die-cuts behind the sun, making sure the spacing is even all the way around.

Stitched Sunshine Sun

Spinner Assembly

  1. Cut a slightly smaller circle from white cardstock and glue it to the back of the sun.
  2. Attach a spinner to the center back of the sun using collage medium. Let it dry.
  3. Cut 6 small circles from Island Blue cardstock.
  4. Stack the circles together and glue them into one thick piece. This will create a riser for the spinning sun.
  5. Glue the stacked circles to the spinner with collage medium and let it dry completely.
  6. Once dry, glue the spinning sun to the photo frame. The riser will keep the sun raised so it can spin freely without hitting the frame.

  • Adhere with 2mm foam squares and glue.

Sentiment

  • Die Set: Pink Lemonade Stand

Up, Up & Away Card

Press & Foil Club

Up, Up & Away Card

This card combines the Press & Foil of the Month, Up & Away, with the Small Die of the Month, Ready to Roll. I foiled the background using Prism foil, which gives the card such a beautiful shimmer in real life. The colorful hot air balloon paired with the adorable dog creates such a fun whimsical scene. I also love how the foiled details add extra shine and texture to the design. The “Things Are Looking Up” sentiment ties everything together perfectly and adds an uplifting touch.
