Foiled Leo Constellation Card
For the Leo card, the gold foiled lion takes center stage, surrounded by constellation details and twinkling stars that really pop against the dark background. I framed the design with a cloud window to create dimension and draw the eye inward. The layered border gives the card structure while still allowing that bold celestial scene to shine.
Card Details
Card Base
- A2 Size: 4¼” x 5½”
- Cardstock: Indigo
Foiled Zodiac
- Press Plate: Block Print Leo
- Cardstock: Indigo
- Foil: Gold
Navy Cloud Frame
- Die Set: Tunnel Clouds – medium cloud frame
- Die Set: Percision Layering A2 A – second largest die
- Cardstock Color: Indigo
- Press Plate: Block Print Leo – dates
- Foil: Gold
- Die-cut the cloud frame first, then foil the Leo dates.
Gold Cloud Frame
- Die Set: Tunnel Clouds – medium cloud frame
- Cardstock Color: Gold Glitter
- Trim the gold glitter cloud frame diagonally in half to create a layered, offset design.
- Glue the cloud layers together.
- Attach the cloud frame to the foiled Leo panel with 1mm foam squares for added dimension.
- Then adhere it to the card base with glue.
Foiled Virgo Constellation Card
The Virgo card features a foiled illustration of the maiden paired with delicate constellation lines feels elegant and refined. It’s constructed just like the Leo card design, but in a vertical format, giving it its own distinct presence while still coordinating perfectly. I repeated the same cloud window framing technique to keep the overall look cohesive across the collection. The rich gold foil against the deep navy cardstock creates a striking contrast that feels both timeless and modern. It’s the kind of card that feels truly personal, especially when given to someone who deeply connects with their zodiac sign.
