Hello, crafty friends! I’m still in full Christmas mode, and today I’m excited to share a couple more holiday projects featuring the Merry Moments Collection from Spellbinders. This time, I focused on the add-on products—the Gifting Bow die set, the Petite Criss Cross BetterPress plate, and Christmas Cameos 3D embossing folder—to create three festive designs. Each one highlights rich holiday colors, textured backgrounds, and elegant details that make handmade holiday greetings truly shine.

Gifting Bow – A die set that assembles into a ribboned bow with holiday florals and ornaments.

Merry & Bright Card

For this card, I started by pressing the background texture with the Petite Criss Cross BetterPress plate on sage essentials cardstock. The focal point is a shield shape embossed with a amaryllis flower, topped with the Gifting Bow. I built up the bow with deep red loops, sprigs of greenery, and a soft pink poinsettia for a pop of contrast. The gold “Merry & Bright” sentiment banner sits perfectly at the bottom for a polished finish.

Gift Tag

The gift tag coordinates perfectly with the card, using the same color palette and bow design. I added the “A Gift For You” sentiment strip in gold along one side, and of course, finished it with a bit of gold ribbon so it’s ready to tie onto a package. Together, they make a lovely, thoughtful set for holiday gift giving.

Arched Joy Card

The arched joy card really lets the texture shine! I used the Christmas Cameos 3D embossing folder to create a richly dimensional background in deep green. The embossed arched oval shape adds instant elegance and pairs beautifully with the oversized “joy” sentiment cut from glittery gold cardstock. A single red poinsettia with greenery accents adds just the right festive touch, making this design both simple and striking.
